CLOVELLY HARBOUR DIP // PRINT
As a keen sea swimmer, walking into the sea from the Clovelly slipway is one of my favourite ways to recharge and keep the crazy in check. This piece was heavily inspired by a picture my friend, part mermaid, part medic, part yarn ball, Joy Perham kindly snapped with her snazzy underwater go-pro camera. The picture enabled me to give structure to the viewpoint from the water itself. This is a significant work for me in many ways and amphibious artwork will be the focus of my residency at Bucks Mills in 2021.
